Treated with Love 

As a busy Mum I was trying to hold down a full time job and help raise my husband’s three girls. We constantly had beautiful clothes that needed to be sold on eBay but I could just never find the time to do the photo’s, create the listings, packing and posting etc.

I tried selling through local Facebook groups but realised we never achieved what we hoped for them. Had the inconvenience of people not turning up, buyers trying to bid you down on your doorstep, plus the risk of giving out your home address.

So welcome to treated with love: quality designer kids clothes and high street children’s wear that has been previously loved by another family.  We only take in good quality used kids clothing from brand’s like CARAMEL BABY & CHILD LONDON, RALPH LAUREN, BURBERRY, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Fred Perry, Penguin, Baby Dior, Gucci plus many more.

How it works | Selling Secondhand Children’s Clothes to us

At Treated with Love we aim to offer a service that has not been available in Selby or on the internet to our customers. The process is really simple and i will explain in in two ways one for bringing second hand clothing to our Selby kids clothes shop and also selling via the internet.

Selby Kid’s Clothes shop

Please select the children’s clothes you wish to sell to our shop at 19 Finkle Street, Selby, YO8 4DT.

1. We will ask you what service you are looking for (exchange your items for other clothes in store, or to ask us to sell your items as an agent and receive a higher price and be paid at the end of the sale period).
2. We will check your items are the brands that we buy and that they are in the condition we require to accept your kids clothes see Sell your kids clothes for detailed information.
3. If you are selling you kids clothes to get a price to buy designer kids clothes from us (part exchange), we normally require at least 30 mins to check your items and work out a price.We accept clothes on a Monday and Friday only contacting us in advance is advised as it can get busy so to avoid a wait please book a slot.
4. Dress agency customers we will advise you the price we think your items will sell for and get you to agree to our T & C for acting as an agency which will include when you can be paid normally between 4 to 12 weeks depending on the quality of your items and how quickly they sell.

That’s it, its not complicated you just need to make sure your kids clothes are in a good condition – the best way to explain is would you buy it if it was in a kids clothes shop if it had tears, missing items stains etc? no so nobody else would either so its worth not bringing any items in that condition. Sell kids clothes to us online

The process to sell us you used kids clothes to us via the online method is almost the same as above but you will need to do one of two things which will be;

1. Contact us with a list of your items to get a quote on what we will give on your items we will require basic pictures to give an accurate price.
2. Send your items via our prepaid label without agreeing a price in advance we will then provide you will confirmed price which you can accept and get paid via PayPal or bank transfer. If not agreed then you will need to pay a fee to cover delivery of your items back to you. you can find out more in our T & C

TWL like to think we offer something a little different, we work as an agent and split the sale 50/50 but would prefer to give our customers a bit more – up to 70% of the proposed sales value to spend in-store with treated with love (See T & C) – to change quality secondhand designer kids clothing that their kids have outgrown for quality pre-loved designer children’s items that will be perfect for their kids.

We have repeat customers who continue to trade in clothing as they know the quality of designer kids clothing far outweighs the high street.
